Yep, I get what you say since I had deep respect for Jackie Chan, too but it’s the movie that made me change the feeling for a while (after watching a couple of his new movies, respect was back). It’s just how I feel for Nicolas Cage, whose reputation was brought back (in my POV) when he had a non-lead role in Kickass.

Me and my dad had been great Jackie Chan fans ever since he first got to the screen (actually it was my dad who witnessed his first movie, lol)

His first movie was entitled “Snake In The Eagles Shadow“, that was his first time he starred as the leading main character.

I’ve also watched Drunken Master II and Police Story. They were classics.

I also think that the old Jackie Chan films are way better than the new ones that are coming out today. Perhaps because his recent films are slowly becoming americanized.

Pero what I like best in Manila is that when it gets too hot, I’ll just take a cab and go to the nearest mall. Ang init sa LB, humid lang kaya hindi masyado masakit sa balat. We’d like to live in Batangas City din since coastal area s’ya and parang may dalawang sides s’ya: the probinsya feel and the urban life.

The dormant volcano is not really a threat although madaming takot. Lalo sa floods.
