This is my favorite part because I spent days thinking of how to describe myself. I think it’s something not yet overrated.

I’ve been blogging since 2003 using my own Geocities hosted website. I came to realize that it’s just not in me to keep myself from the whole world – that everybody has the right to read about what I’ve eaten last night, or what color of underwear I am wearing.

I am Sheenah Bromidor Tan, or just Sheenah Tan. I learned to love my name somehow. I was born, raised and educated in the province of Laguna. I was an almost college dropout in University of the Philippines in Los Baños. I was an Economics student before I decided to eliminate all the  math in my education, hence, Mass Communication.

I enjoy the simplest of things. That includes having a piece of a brightly-colored paper, or writing using purple ink. I learned to play the piano when I was about five years old, learned to play the guitar when I was 14, learned to play the drums when I was 13, and learned how to sing with slight confidence when I was 24 (thanks to Timezone sound-proof music booths). If there’s one thing I can be proud of myself, that would be the way I choose my kind of music. I can live with boybands, heavy metal, reggae, hopelessly suicidal love songs, chill out, and Enya.

I am of Chinese-Spanish descent. I’m the middle child who belives that she was once a ruler of an empire in her past life (I let the Cleopatra issue go.) I learned to walk when I was two. Learned to write my name in cursive when I was four. That’s the time when my parents decided to send me to school.

I spent roughly eight years in college. I was the type who hated school and would mostly make an appearance only during exams. I wore whatever I wanted to wear during wash day. I once came to school wearing my grandmother’s Latina skirt.

I am not alcoholic but when I start drinking, I like to feel the alcohol rising up my head. I do not smoke but I believe that I can get fair amounts of air pollution by just walking on the streets of Metro Manila.

Right now I live in Makati City. I rent an apartment, pay the bills, including my crappy internet service provider. I work as an SEO copywriter, which makes Google my primary source of living.

My first job was a production manager in a community cable. I applied for an instructor post in my alma mater but was declined. My second job was a web copywriter. Yes, writing without a by-line.

I was a photographer until I realized that the hobby doesn’t suit my salary. I once had a Nikon D80 DSLR but now I reverted to my old Canon S3IS.

I love to name things. Here is a list of some of my possessions who give me love everyday:

I’m currently in a very dramatic relationship with Dave dela Cruz. We’ve been together since February 21 this year.

I don’t usually talk in real life. I believe in the saying “less words less mistakes“. I like to write more than I talk.
